Hold the line on zooming to Orlando.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood told the Orlando Sentinel last week the state will not win funds for a high-speed rail linking Tampa to Orlando if Central Florida's SunRail commuter line doesn't win approval.
"You've got to get your act together," LaHood said about the state Senate, which twice has derailed SunRail partly because of freight line liability questions.
LaHood's declaration makes our Senate delegation even more pivotal. Leaders here want that high-speed link. Stay tuned. …
