A collapsed sewer line has caused S West Shore Boulevard to be closed in both directions at W Kensington Avenue in South Tampa, possibly until May 28. The sewer line collapse caused the street to close Wednesday, the city's wastewater department said. The recommended detour is W Euclid Avenue to S Manhattan Avenue to W El Prado Boulevard. Access to businesses on S West Shore Boulevard between Euclid and El Prado will be open to local traffic only. Repairs will continue through the weekend. Work is expected to be completed and the road reopened no later than May 28.
